Il Giglio is the restaurant Patrizia and Vito have run for over thirty years. They open their doors to Paladar in a setting unlike any other.
Each edition takes a topic, announced the month before. Thoughts for this year: Telenovela, The Godmother, Beirut Baby, Nordic Noir.
The point is simpler than it may sound: gather for lunch, meet someone new if you feel like it, and let the weekend end well before everyone heads home, possibly to Tatort.
25 seats, four courses, CHF 75 / cover.

The first warm Saturday of summer, you get on the motorway and point the car south. No plan past the first trattoria you see. You eat at an Autogrill because that's where you are, and it's better than it has any right to be. The whole table is that drive: the food you'd actually stop for, somewhere between here and the sea. A Pocket Coffee on the way out. One for the road.
